     4 – MADISON, WIAnnual Communication of the Grand Lodge of Wisconsin (Personal)

 

*   4-6 – CEDAR RAPIDS – Annual Conclave, Grand Commandery, Knights Templar of Iowa. (Personal)

 

*   5 – NEWTON Cornerstone Re-Laying Ceremony for the Jasper County Court House, 101 First Street N.  Grand Lodge will open in Newton Lodge No. 59, 208 First Avenue West at 2:00 P.M.  An important practice session will be held at 2:15 for all Grand Lodge Officers and local participants, with the Ceremony at 3:00.  G.L.O. dark business suits.  Ladies are invited.

 

*   6 – SPRINGVILLE 150th Year Anniversary Rededication Ceremony at Springville Lodge No. 139, 306 Liberty Street, at 2:00 P.M.  G.L.O. dark business suits.  Ladies are invited. 

 

*   12-13 – AMES – Leadership Conference.  (Personal)

 

     14 – SPIRIT LAKE – Cornerstone Laying Ceremony at the new Dickinson County Court House, 1802 Hill Street.  Grand Lodge will open at 2:00 P.M. in Wesley Hall, 1813 Hill Avenue.  An important practice session will be held at 2:15 for all Grand Lodge Officers and local participants, with the Ceremony at 3:00.  G.L.O. dark business suits.  Ladies are invited.

 

     16 – CEDAR RAPIDS – Meeting of the directors of the Iowa Masonic Library and Museums Building Endowment Fund. (Personal)

 

*   19 – RED OAK Cornerstone Laying Ceremony at the new Wilson Performing Arts Center, 300 Commerce Drive.  Grand Lodge will open at 6:00 P.M. in Red Oak Lodge No. 162, 2700 North Fourth Street.  An important practice session will be held at 6:15 for all Grand Lodge Officers and local participants, with the Ceremony at 7:00.  G.L.O. dark business suits.  Ladies are invited.

*   23 – CEDAR RAPIDS – Table Lodge of Instruction hosted by Kingston Lodge No. 676.  (Personal)

 

*   25 – DAVENPORT Informal Third Degree hosted by Brubaker Lodge No. 675, 511 East 65th Street.  First Section is at 5:30 P.M., supper at 6:30, and Second Section at 7:30.  G.L.O. dark business suits.  No plans for ladies.

*   27 – AMES Cornerstone Laying Ceremony at the new Social Security Administration Building, 2615 University Boulevard.  Grand Lodge will open at 10:00 A.M. in Arcadia Lodge No. 249, 107 Alexander Avenue.  An important practice session will be held at 10:15 for all Grand Lodge Officers and local participants, with the Ceremony at 11:00.  G.L.O. dark business suits.  Ladies are invited. 

 

*   27 – MARIONReception for Grand Marshal Damian N. Hurmence hosted by Mount Vernon Lodge No. 112.  The reception will be held at the Marion Masonic Temple, 684 Tenth Street.  Social Hour is at 3:30 P.M., reception of Grand and Past Grand Lodge Officers at 4:30, and dinner at 5:30 with program to follow.  G.L.O. dark business suits.  Ladies are invited.

*   9-10 – BURLINGTON Annual Communication of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Iowa, F. & A.M. (Personal) 

 

*   18 – PERRY – Annual visit to the Herman L. Rowley Memorial Masonic Home, 3000 East Willis.  Brunch is at 9:30 A.M.  G.L.O. dark business suits.  Ladies are invited.

 

     18 – CORYDON – Cornerstone Laying Ceremony at the new Wayne County Law Enforcement Center, 207 North Lafayette Street.  Grand Lodge will open at 2:00 P.M. in Corydon Lodge No. 91, 212½ South Franklin.  An important practice session will be held at 2:15 for all Grand Lodge Officers and local participants, with the Ceremony at 3:00.  G.L.O. dark business suits.  Ladies are invited.

 

*   18 – KNOXVILLE Grand Lodge Officers will be guests of Hartford Lodge No. 83 and Attica Lodge No. 502 for the Knoxville Race Night, 706 Marion Street.  Supper is at 6:00 P.M.  GLO casual dress.  Ladies are invited.

*   25 – AMANA – Informal Grand Lodge Third Degree hosted by Canopy Lodge No. 290 in an outdoor setting (Hiram-in-the-Hills) north of Amana (watch for signs on Highway 151).  First Section of Third Degree is by local lodge members at 4:00 P.M.  Dinner is at 5:00, followed by the Grand Lodge Officers conferring the Second Section of Third Degree.  For reservations, contact with either Harry Dolder at 319-828-4312 or harrydolder@canopylodge190.org; or Doug Darrow at 319-828-4741 or darrow56@aol.com.   G.L.O. blue shirts and tan slacks.  No plans for ladies.
